Vintage Vanity Fair Nightgown

Pictured is a beautiful Vintage Vanity Fair nightgown with a white-laced bust and flowing nylon fabric.

Beginning in the early 1900s, Vanity Fair made some of the most desired lingerie, and continued to until 2007. This vintage nightgown was made somewhere between the 1950s and 1960s, as, according to research, Vanity Fair began using only Nylon to create their lingerie after World War II--this piece is 100% Nylon, and one of a kind. It is marked a size 34, which is about a US size 4-6, or medium.

For more information and photos, be sure to keep a lookout for the shop "Sunlit Air Moonlit Fire" on Etsy!! Or, if interested in the nightgown, leave a comment below.

Lace & Life

lace & life

Lately I have been really into neutral colors-- my bedroom is painted a light taupe, my bedding is all mixed white fabrics, the window curtains (as shown in photo) are white trimmed with lace, and even my furniture consists of neutrals, as it is white wicker. The room is decorated with three mirrors-- two gold framed (which are my favorite) and one vintage hand-painted one (kind of shown in the photo). Baby's breathe, green flowers, and this pretty little yellow flower are spread throughout to give the sense of nature within the room, which is all a necessity to make me feel comfortable.
